Elgin Community College Emergency Alert System.

Register below to receive emergency text messages. Enter your first name, last name, and cell phone number. When a situation arises that requires an emergency broadcast, we will send a text message to the cell phone number you provided.

You will receive two messages confirming enrollment success, one from ECC and another from our provider, 2sms.com. No further action is required. Testing of the notification system will occur on the first Tuesday of Fall and Spring terms.

Registration requirements

  • Your cell phone must be capable of receiving text messages.
  • If you have ever Opted-Out of a 2sms hosted service you may not receive a confirmation message, contact First Stop immediately.
